Titan Trading Notes For Wednesday [7/8/2024]:

$KLSE-KLCI had a good rebound back towards the 1574 points region today after the huge panic selling wave yesterday from the Nikkei crashing. Daily trading volume settled around the 6.3 billion mark, mostly dominated by buyers fortunately.

Main stocks that showed strong buying momentum today would be the likes of MYEG, VELESTO, SIMEPROP, WCT, TOPGLOV, JCY, MRCB, SUNWAY, UEMS, RGB, ARMADA, MAHSING, HIAPTEK, SPSETIA, DNEX, IJM, HARTA, ECOWLD, VS, YTL, and INARI. All of which were able to sustain their rallies throughout the day on the top volumes list.

Among others, $WCT / 9679 (WCT HOLDINGS BERHAD) was one of the stronger ones as it was able to hold above its RM 0.95+ main support levels over the past few days here and rebounded back above the RM 1+ regions already today with good volume.

For now could be forming a higher low region here and if able to breakout from its RM 1.05+ resistance levels, could continue to rebound further towards the RM 1.15+ regions soon.

Will be monitoring WCT closely here.

$JCY / 5161 (JCY INTERNATIONAL BERHAD) since breaking out towards the RM 0.93 major resistance levels, had been retracing over the past 2 months here and today, rebounded quite strongly from its RM 0.525+ major support levels with good volume and buying momentum.

For now could be forming a mid term dip region around the RM 0.525+ regions here on the daily chart and if able to sustain, could trend back towards the RM 0.65+ major resistance levels soon once more.

Although JCY is the least profitable HDD supplier among DUFU and NOTION, it ironically has the biggest market capitalization. Hence, will still be worth monitoring here.

$THETA / 9075 (THETA EDGE BERHAD) on the other hand is performing quite well here despite the huge panic selling wave earlier this week, still being able to hold well above its RM 2+ major support levels on both the hourly and daily charts.

For now climbing back well here towards the RM 2.27+ regions and if able to sustain, could breakout from its RM 2.40+ immediate downtrend resistance levels for an uptrend continuation pattern soon.

NIISE project will be announcing soon and THETA will be one of the main contenders. Will be monitoring it closely.

NIISe Bid Race to be Revealed Soon: Who Will Emerge Victorious?

Recent reports suggest that $DNEX / 4456 (DAGANG NEXCHANGE BERHAD) and $THETA / 9075 (THETA EDGE BERHAD) are currently leading the bid for the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) project. According to sources cited by The Edge, the tender committee met last week to shortlist the proposed awardees, with an official announcement expected soon.

$IRIS / 0010 (IRIS CORPORATION BERHAD) originally secured the project in 2021 with a bid of RM1.16 billion. However, the contract was terminated in August last year due to delays.

The NIISe project aims to integrate border control systems across various units under the Ministry of Home Affairs, enhancing national border security and improving immigration management efficiency.

DNEX’s bid is higher, ranging between RM1.1 billion and RM1.2 billion, and proposes using the existing government system. In contrast, Theta's bid is lower at RM800 million, suggesting the development of a new border control system. Sources indicate that DNEX’s proposal is more standardized and rigorously tested, while Theta offers a cost advantage but needs to focus more on system development.

Rumors also suggest that Theta is preparing to poach senior executives from $HTPADU / 5028 (HEITECH PADU BERHAD), another shortlisted bidder. The NIISe project bid is highly competitive, with DNEX, Theta, and HeiTech Padu emerging as the final three contenders. Previously, $REDTONE / 0032 (REDTONE INTERNATIONAL BERHAD) was also in the race. BJCORP founder Tan Sri Vincent Tan, who holds a 40.79% stake in REDtone Digital, has acquired 600,000 shares in Theta and 3.2 million shares in DNEX.

Despite REDtone Digital’s active maneuvers, they eventually paused, leaving DNEX, Theta, and HeiTech Padu as the top contenders.

Interestingly, Theta's share price has outperformed DNEX recently. Over the past month, Theta's share price has increased by almost 50%, while DNEX’s share price has decreased by 6%. This performance, coupled with Theta's recent contract awards, suggests that Theta might have a higher chance of winning the NIISe project.

Titan Trading Notes For Monday [22/7/2024]

$KLSE-KLCI had a decent breakout towards the 1636 points region last week despite having over 730 counters closing red for the day. Market sentiment was definitely mixed here with a trading volume of around 4.4 billion as we closed for the week.

Main stocks that showed strong buying momentum would be the likes of BJCORP, ATAIMS, SCIB, SIAB, JPG, and THETA. All of which were able to sustain their rallies throughout the day on the top volumes list despite the mixed market sentiment.

$THETA / 9075 (THETA EDGE BERHAD) was definitely the main star during last Friday as it managed to breakout all the way towards the RM 2.90 regions with huge volume and buying momentum despite being overbought on the daily chart.

Looking very strong for now and as long as able to sustain above its RM 2.40+ immediate support on the daily chart, could continue on towards and beyond the RM 3+ regions soon in the coming weeks for a parabolic rally continuation pattern.

Will be monitoring THETA closely here as something big seems to be brewing.

$BJCORP / 3395 (BERJAYA CORPORATION BERHAD) since breaking out from its RM 0.32+ major resistance levels earlier this month, had been breaking out strong all the way towards the RM 0.41 regions with huge volume and buying momentum despite being overbought here.

For now as long as able to sustain above its RM 0.38+ immediate support levels on the daily chart, could continue on towards and beyond the RM 0.41+ regions for an uptrend continuation pattern.

So far looking very strong here for BJCORP and will be monitoring it closely as seems to be starting a new uptrend here.

$ATAIMS / 8176 (ATA IMS BERHAD) had been retracing over the past 2 months from its RM 0.61+ major resistance levels and retraced all the way back towards the RM 0.46+ main support regions.

On Friday, was able to rebound strong back towards the RM 0.50+ regions with good volume and buying momentum. Seems to have formed its higher low regions here already and if able to hold above its RM 0.475 immediate support, could trend back up towards the RM 0.535 - RM 0.55+ regions soon.

Will be monitoring ATAIMS closely here.

Titan Trading Notes For Friday [28/8/2024]:

$KLSE-KLCI resumed its retracement and closed back towards the 1584 points region with an overall negative market sentiment as we still saw over 800 counters closing red along with it. Daily trading volume also dipped back towards the 4.2 billion mark, which isn't really a good sight.

Main stocks that showed strong buying momentum would be the likes of SBH, NOVAMSC, WCT, HEXIND, THETA, DCHCARE, IFCAMSC, and MNHLDG. All of which were able to sustain their rallies throughout the day on the top volumes list despite the weak market sentiment.

SBH over the past few days was able to breakout from its RM 0.29+ major resistance levels and rallied all the way towards the RM 0.36 regions, forming a new all time high despite the weak market sentiment.

Although wasn't able to close on its new high, its closing price of RM 0.34 was still a pretty good sign here and as long as able to hold above its RM 0.33+ immediate support levels, could continue on this uptrend rally towards and beyond the RM 0.36+ regions.

Will be monitoring SBH closely here.

$THETA / 9075 (THETA EDGE BERHAD) since retracing back towards its RM 1.38+ major support levels yesterday, was able to hold well above its support region and breakout all the way towards the RM 1.86 regions today with huge volume and buying momentum.

For now looking very strong here and as long as able to hold above its RM 1.60+ immediate support levels, could continue on towards and beyond its RM 1.86+ regions for an uptrend continuation pattern.

Will be monitoring THETA closely here as seems to be ripe for an uptrend continuation pattern.

$HEXIND / 0161 (HEXTAR INDUSTRIES BERHAD) on the other hand since retesting its RM 0.38+ immediate support levels over the past few days, was able to form its higher low region and break out all the way towards the RM 0.445 regions today with good volume and buying momentum.

This could be due to the fact that HEXIND will be transferred to the main market tomorrow. For now looking quite strong here and as long as able to hold above its RM 0.42+ immediate support levels, could continue on towards and beyond its RM 0.445+ regions soon.
