[%Afqq%] RIVERSTONE's results summary fresh from the oven. Just WOW. Truly remarkable!!
There's even 10 cents (MYR) dividend, equivalent to 0.032SGD or 4% yield based on latest closing. 

On hindsight, I should've just trust my instinct when doing my research previously and allocate more here instead of 50/50 between here and HARTA haha....small boys are beating big boys now

$KLSE-HARTA result is within expectation imo, I expected it to be lower than pre-pandemic (Q42020) but higher than $KLSE-KOSSAN 

However it's by no means the darkest / worst yet. ASP is still coming off, Chinese players I'm hearing is selling at below USD20, and this quarter, HARTA's utilisation is actually very good (close to 70%) - that will be lower in upcoming months I think... On top of that, costs are still high, so the unit economics is completely the other way around / unfavorable now. 

On the brightside though, amongst the Malaysian listed names, together with KOSSAN, they're probably the one with highest probability to remain in good profitable state for the calendar year 2022. $KLSE-TOPGLOV have got TONS of issues and the smaller players just dont have the scale at current environment. 

I also like the fact that the management is calm about the downcycle, and taking steps to innovate / automate their manufacturing process. This will bode well for the long term. HARTA will remain the lowest cost producer of glove. 

Overall, investing in HARTA now requires patience and long term view (2025 and beyond). 

p.s. RIVERSTONE releasing result today. Can't wait for that one!
