Jesse Livermore - The Greatest Trader

At one time, Livermore was one of the richest people in the world; however, at the time of his SUICIDE he had liabilities greater than his assets.

On November 28th 1940, Livermore was found dead in the cloakroom of the Sherry Netherland Hotel in Manhattan, aged sixty-three. He had tragically shot himself. He left an eight-page suicide note to his wife, which was found in his leather-bound notebook.

"My dear Nina: Can't help it. Things have been bad with me. I am tired of fighting. Can't carry on any longer. This is the only way out. I am unworthy of your love. I am a failure. I am truly sorry, but this is the only way out for me. Love Laurie"

Moral of the Story :

"Money is made by SITTING, not by TRADING & a Man must know himself thoroughly if he is going to make a good job out of trading" by Himself Jesse Livermore
