The Illusion of Control

Kita sering kejebak sama illusion of control. Ngerasa semuanya hasil skill, padahal kadang itu cuma alignment of timing and destiny. Market tuh brutal banget buat ngasih reminder - you’re not always in charge.

Analysis, strategy, risk management dll itu semua tools. Tapi outcome? Itu beyond calculation. Ada invisible hand yang ikut main, dan bukan semua chart bakal ngasih spotlight.

Kadang di market, ada moment absurd banget. Masuk di satu saham random, terus chart langsung ngegas. Instantly, feelingnya kayak “damn, gue jago juga ya.”

Tapi ada juga skenario dark side. Udah research berlembar-lembar, bikin thesis rapi, entry sesuai plan, tapi malah nyungsep. Sementara saham yang cuma ditatap doang, yang di-skip dengan cuek, malah terbang. Endingnya cuma bisa bilang dalam hati “tau gitu.....”

Mindfulness di market basically about acceptance. Ketika gain, it’s not about being a genius, it’s about being grateful. Ketika loss, it’s not about being dumb, it’s about being human.

Market is a mirror. It reflects your ego, your fear, your greed. Dan kalau bisa stay aware, lo akan sadar bahwa the game is not about controlling everything, but about controlling yourself.


Yakini bahwa yang memang bukan buat lo, akan pergi meski dikejar. Yang memang buat lo, akan datang meski lo nggak expect. Rezeki never misses the address.

That’s the ultimate cheatcode of the universe. Bukan soal being the smartest person in the room, but being aligned with the bigger flow.

Market bukan sekadar tempat cari cuan, tapi juga reminder tentang life itself. Destiny works in mysterious ways. Sometimes it gives, sometimes it takes.

So instead of overthinking “kenapa nggak masuk di saham itu” atau “kenapa nyangkut di sini”, better just trust the process. Because what’s meant for you will always find you.
