$DLTA 's revenue continue to decline in 1Q25 (-8.66% yoy). Up until now I still can't conclude what's behind $DLTA revenue downfall in the last two years. Covid is already behind us, hospitality, entertainment and tourism have been in a boom for several years, yet DLTA's sales keeps declining.
I could think several possible reasons which bring down DLTA's sales in recent years:
- DLTA losing out to competition, mainly from OT Group aggressive expansion in beer & liquor businesses
- Beer industry in Indonesia has been in a declining trend in the last few years due to health consciousness among younger Indonesia's population.
- Mid-to-low population (which is DLTA's main customers) has less disposable income due to economics difficulties from lack of GDP growth and Judol boom.
As a DLTA's ex-investor (owned it for several years before I sold it all) I just wish that DLTA's management to act more aggressively (in product development & Innovation) to fight this revenue-declining-trend, because I can't see an organic demand improvement in alcohol market in Indonesia.
Quick act & Innovate or Dying Slowly.
