@Ryunanda lucky timing on this post on CPO vs CPO stocks. Alot of rotation happening and foreign insti funds are coming in droves. Very ironic haha.

On $CPO, Wilmar $SGX-F34 had a briefing yesterday. According to a source who attended the briefing, Even Mr Kuok said, he has never seen an environment like this before in his 40 years in the business, and it’s hard to measure where commodities prices will go.

$SGX-F34 WILMAR Int comes to mind. It was something that I completely missed out on. It was a glaring buy post Yihai Kerry Arawana IPO, which totally unlocked value. IPO price around RMB 25, Opened at RMB 50, currently around RMB 80!

Another SGX name I'm looking at is $SGX-D03 DEL MONTE Pacific. My family consumes its ketchup alot of times, and it's been a big beneficiary of "Cooking From Home" theme

Recent quarterly result shows strong growth and sustainability, with net profit 4 fold YoY. They also reduced debt significantly from 3+x to equity to 2+x to equity. Another big angle to play this is also similar to Wilmar case - the unlocking of 88% owned Del Monte Phillilines via IPO. Last year they sold 12% of the stake for USD$120m, valuing it at USD$1B. Compare that to the company's current valuation of SGD500m! Of course we dont know how the balance sheet of the unit will look like but still interesting!

Wilmar ($SGX-F34) aja PER 17.2x , $TBLA ini kan mirip2 apalagi jauh lebih efisien secara marjin dan ROE. Profit margin Wilmar 1-2%an, profit margin TBLA 8-9%an. Bakal stabil karena jualnya minyak goreng Rose Brand di supermarket (wilmar minyak gorengnya merk Fortuna).

Supaya PERnya sama, harga wajar TBLA harusnya 2300. Diskon 20% jadi 1840.

Cons :
Hutang gede. Bagi gw pribadi g masalah karena permintaan produk inelastis. Mau naik turun pun, masyarakat indonesia cinta gorengan (termasuk saya) dan karena Rose Brand ini sudah termasuk grup merk minyak murah, risiko perang harga terbatas (karena hasil selama ini juga dari perang harga, bukan hal baru).
